This emergency handbook was designed in Canva to help Resident Assistants respond quickly and confidently during emergencies.
Using concise language, step-by-step instructions, gridding techniques, and the CRAP design principles, the handbook transforms complex processes into an accessible reference guide that supports resident safety, policy compliance, and effective crisis response.
Digital Banquet Flipbook
This banquet program was created using Flipsnack, a platform for designing and publishing interactive digital flipbooks.
The project required extensive layout refinement to maintain a cohesive visual identity. By applying visual hierarchy and adjusting text and image placement to eliminate widows and orphans, I created a polished, reader-friendly publication.
The final design uses typography, white space, and the CRAP principles to ensure that content is easy to navigate while keeping the focus on the organization's impact.
Medicare Information Booklet
This Medicare information booklet was redesigned with the needs of an older audience in mind, prioritizing readability, accessibility, and ease of navigation.
Content is organized into clear sections with straightforward language. I also reduced excessive color usage and visual noise while preserving the business’ brand identity through its purple and lime green color palette.
The final document helps readers focus on Medicare information rather than competing design elements.
Insurance Adjuster Training Slides
These training slides were redesigned to improve engagement and comprehension in a self-paced online training environment.
The original presentation relied heavily on dense text, making it difficult for learners to process information effectively.
Using imagery, white space, and strategic formatting, the revised presentation preserves required regulatory language while creating a more engaging learning experience.
